Morningside Dance Academy Dance Show
There is an opportunity for parents to see the Morningside Dance Academy in action at our ‘Variations’ display every two years at the Churchill Theatre, Edinburgh. We have a reputation for the very highest of professional production values. As a result, many of our students have been cast in professional theatre productions.
Mini Variations
Mini Variations is a studio performance from our Junior students. All dancers from Pre-Primary – Grade 1 levels have the opportunity to perform for Parents and friends every year in June. These performances raise hundreds of pounds for charity and also provide funding for our Scholarships and Performance group Language of the Soul.
Performance & Workshop Opportunities
At MDA we are fortunate to have many opportunities to take part in specialist workshops and performances. Recent credits include Scottish Ballet’s “Hansel and Gretel & Me” creative project and site specific performance at Braid Hill Edinburgh; “Sunshine on Leith” Proclaimers musical film where our pupils were featured as dancers and actors; “Disney Performing Arts Showcase” held in Orlando Florida at the Waterside stage in Downtown Disney.
